Passaic Family Head Start provides a quality early education program for families in Passaic City. Our registration process is simple and accessible, ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed. All families can apply at any time, but their child must be three by October 31 to be eligible and meet certain income guidelines.
To register, families must provide:
Child’s birth certificate
- Proof of income (e.g., pay stubs, tax return, or public assistance documents)
- Proof of residency in Passaic City (e.g., utility bill or lease agreement)
- Immunization records
- Insurance card (if applicable)
To qualify for Head Start, specific guidelines must be met; however
- Public Assistance automatically qualifies your child for Head Start.
